Year Seven Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness Report
Great Falls College is in the final year of its 7-year accreditation cycle and will be submitting a self-study report called Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness Feb. 27, 2022. Drafting of this report is being led by the accreditation team: Jeri Pullum (the college’s accreditation liaison officer), Mandy Wright, Dena Wagner-Fossen, Eleazar Ortega, Kerry Dolan, Leanne Frost and Brad Bechard with assistance from appropriate individuals whose responsibilities are addressed in specific accreditation standards.
Accreditation site visit April 20-22, 2022
Great Falls College will have a site visit this spring as part of its final year of the seven-year accreditation cycle. The visit is conducted by a peer evaluation team of representatives from our peer institutions. Our NWCCU liaison staff official, Dr. Mac Powell, will also attend to assist the team.
The peer evaluation review committee spends two full days on campus, meeting with various groups and campus individuals: including, but not limited to, CEO/dean and leadership, OCHE and BOR representative, accreditation committee, assessment committee, faculty leaders, librarians, student services personnel, financial and technology personnel; as well as open meetings with students, faculty and staff. G2 will be the team’s working space on campus. Meetings will be scheduled in other rooms/classrooms throughout the visit.
The third half-day consists of a meeting with CEO/dean followed by an open exit conference for the team to deliver a summary of its findings. The team does not answer questions during this presentation. The team departs campus following the exit conference.
