The Great Falls College Faculty Senate (GFCFS)

The Faculty Senate is constituted as the highest level policy development, review and approval body at Great Falls College concerned with the academic progress of the institution. The Senate is charged with the responsibility of developing policies and making recommendations to the CEO/Dean on matters concerning curriculum and academic policy, degree requirements, admission and retention, the structure of the academic programs, and other matters referred by the CEO/Dean or designee of the CEO/Dean.

Faculty Senate meetings are open to everyone!

Meetings occur the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 10:00am during the academic year.
All meetings are open to everyone and time will be allotted for questions and comments.
All meetings are accessible using Teams and will be recorded.
Meetings only take place during the Academic Year while classes are in session. No meetings are held during breaks or holidays.

The Faculty Senate was created to give all faculty members a voice in the governance of Great Falls College MSU. We want to hear any suggestions you may have for a healthy, happy, and productive working environment. Please note that the Faculty Senate does not discuss union issues such as pay increases and time off.
