CHILO KETTERLING WITH HER DAUGHTER ZELLA KETTERLING-GOULET AT SAINT THOMAS CHILDCARE

Supporting students and staff with high-quality early childhood care and education

The Great Falls College Early Learning Center is an integral part of the Great Falls College community. We provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that supports learning, discovery and engagement for young children, their families and the educators who support them.

Learning: We honor the unique strengths, interests and developmental needs of every child. Our center provides a supportive and inclusive environment that values the uniqueness and ability of each child, family and student. Through developmentally appropriate practice, we create meaningful learning opportunities for enrolled children, their families and educators – including Great Falls College students in the Early Childhood Education program who are preparing for careers in this field – to grow and learn together.

Discovery: We encourage children to explore their world through curiosity, play and hands-on experiences. Our leaning environment welcomes questions, exploration and wonder, allowing children to make sense of their world in meaningful and engaging ways. Through discovery, children build confidence, joy, problem-solving skills and a growing understanding of themselves and the larger community and world.

Engagement: We actively partner with Great Falls College students and the broader community to enhance the well-being and success of our early childhood care and learning community. By collaborating with campus leaders, families and local, state, regional and national organizations, we strengthen our programs and contribute to the advancement of high-quality early childhood care and education.
