Great Falls College’s Substance Abuse and Addictions Counseling programming held an event, titled “Debunking the Myths: Understanding Substance Abuse,” at the college on May 1 to address common misconceptions surrounding addiction and recovery.
The evening featured student presentations, community resource booths and discussions led by students in the Substance Abuse program. It was open to parents, educators, teenagers, counselors and anyone affected by substance abuse.
Dr. Elfie Neber, program director, thanked all those who presented and attended the event.
