GFC MSU publishes literary journal

The GFCMuse Volume 2

GREAT FALLS – The second edition of GFCMuse, a literary journal published by Great Falls College MSU, is now available online.

GFCMuse features stories, essays, poems and photography by students, faculty and staff from GFC MSU and the University of Great Falls.

English faculty Leigh Ann Ruggiero wanted to create a literary journal to give students an opportunity to share their work.

"The research says if students have a place to showcase their work, they're more motivated," Ruggiero said.

Ruggiero has a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing and enjoyed having her work published in literary journals when she was in school.

"I felt like there was a void in the community," she said.

GFCMuse is published each spring. A free digital version is available at www.gfcmsu.edu/webs/gfcmuse. Hard copies can be purchased for $7.50 from Lulu.com .

Submissions for the journal are accepted year round and can be sent to gfclitjournal@gmail.com.
