Graduation ceremony planned for 2 p.m. on Saturday

Great Falls College will hold its 2023 graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Montana ExpoPark's Pacific Steel and Recycling Center Arena.

Great Falls College MSU is excited to announce its graduation ceremony, which will take place Saturday, May 6.

“We are so very proud of all our students graduating,” said Dr. Stephanie Erdmann, CEO and dean of Great Falls College. “Like many of our students, I am wrapping up my second year at Great Falls College, and I am so grateful I have had the privilege to get to know these graduates. Graduation day is the culmination of their education here, but it is not the end of our relationship.”

Great Falls College will graduate 176 students this spring at Montana ExpoPark’s Pacific Steel and Recycling Arena at 2 p.m.

“We can’t wait to see where they go, whether they will be frontline medical workers or welders or accountants or computer professionals, they will make this world a better place,” Erdmann said. “And some will transfer to get a four-year degree and do us proud on campuses throughout Montana and the nation.”

The festivities will start at 10 a.m. at Four Seasons Arena with the Eagle Feather ceremony for Native American students who wish to receive a special blessing and a feather that they can walk across the stage with.

“Some of the graduates are dual-enrollment students who will be graduating with an associate’s degree weeks before graduating high school, others are returning to school for second careers, some are distance students who are taking classes from every corner of Montana,” Erdmann said. “We are proud of each of them.”
