Great Falls College’s Lifelong Learning offers exciting new classes this fall

Lifelong Learning has a wide spectrum of classes available including baking and cooking classes.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Registration is open for Great Falls College MSU's Lifelong Learning's fall classes, which include cooking and baking classes, blacksmithing, financial planning and a selection of classes for children among many other things.

Receive a $5 discount for classes with an early bird promotion if you register before Sept. 11.

The cooking and baking classes will feature the owners of the Spice and Spurs and Nourish food trucks.

"We are really thrilled about these partnerships with the food trucks," said Heather Palermo, director of Lifelong Learning. "They both offer such delicious and nutritious meals, and we are excited to share their knowledge and passion with the community."

Other highlights of the fall offering include numerous financial planning courses ranging from the Foundations of Investing to Retirement by Design and Human Resource-related classes.

The Good Wood Guys continue to offer classes and there are blacksmithing and welding options for those looking for something hands-on, or a class on decluttering your life.

The offerings for children include a coding academy from Black Rocket and a Mom/Dad and Me Pasta class as well as many others.

"These are just a sampling of the many things we offer," Palermo said. "It is a great selection of classes."

Lifelong Learning is not open for walk-in registrations without an appointment because of the coronavirus pandemic. Appointments can be made from Lifelong Learning's Facebook or webpage. Please pay with credit card, check or exact cash.

You can register online at https://www.campusce.net/greatfalls/account/signin.aspx, or you can call 406-268-3734 or email lifelonglearning@gfcmsu.edu.

Lifelong Learning changed its cancellation policy and now allows patrons to drop a class one working day prior to the start of class and still get a full refund.

"Thank you for your understanding and support during this time," Palermo said. "We hope to see you in a class this fall."
